Mariusz Pudzianowski decides to speak out. He’s had enough and is ready for a sincere confession. Nothing will convince him
Mariusz Pudzianowski, despite his advanced age for an athlete, still does not seem to have enough training, routine, and challenges. His recent series in MMA has not been good, as he lost to both Mamed Khalidov and Artur Szpilka. After the latter defeat, there were voices suggesting that Pudzianowski might consider ending his career.
However, the athlete has been repeating for some time that he wants to have a few more fights and is not planning to retire for now. Furthermore, there have been rumors that he might consider a fight in the freak-fighting federation. Specifically, there were rumors that this would be part of an agreement between KSW and FAME MMA after Tomasz Adamek was “loaned” to KSW.
Pudzianowski himself remained silent on the matter for a long time but eventually spoke out. He confessed on the Olimp channel that no amount of money would tempt him to fight in a federation other than KSW. “Freak fighting federations come to me.
They offer me much more money than in KSW. One federation came, then another. No, thank you.
I’d choke on a small spoon. I’d suffocate with a ladle,” Pudzianowski said. “Money is not everything.
When you reach a certain stage, something more than just money matters. I have enough money. Something else matters later.
You build trust over twenty years (…) I’ve never been let down by them. We’ve been working together for fifteen years, and, in fact, I don’t need a contract,” said the legendary athlete about KSW.
