Touching confession of “Diablo” Włodarczyk about his time in prison. Words about children soften the toughest ones

Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk has been on a winning streak for a long time. Since 2017, he has not suffered a defeat and has won 11 fights in a row, still dreaming of winning a championship belt. His five-month stay in prison at the beginning of 2022 was undoubtedly a major obstacle to realizing this dream.

He was released in July and has since fought four matches, undoubtedly counting on more, even though he is already 42 years old. His confession has touched the hearts of boxing fans. These words are heart-wrenching.

The 42-year-old boxer did not hide that tears appeared in his eyes after hearing the verdict, primarily because of his children, who were left without a father for several months. “When I heard the initial verdict, I shed a few tears, being a father of three children. It was something terrible for me.

(…) I think that no matter how tough someone may seem, whatever they may think, once you’re in there, there are no strong ones. In reality, you are just a number there,” he said in an interview with “Dzień Dobry TVN”. Włodarczyk cannot come to terms with the time lost behind bars.

“I regret every second spent in confinement. You could say it’s like driving a car, taking a train, anything, and throwing away money, time, emotions, things that cannot be recovered. Longing for everything.

Time slipping away without family. Children growing up without a father,” added “Diablo.”
