There’s a new date for the Fury

The Tyson Fury – Oleksandr Usyk fight has been capturing the imagination of boxing fans for a long time. It seemed for a while that the fight might not happen, as both fighters couldn’t agree on compensation.

However, the two sides eventually reached an agreement, and there were even initial reports that the fight could take place as early as December 2023. However, this date proved to be impossible due to Fury’s fight with Francis Ngannou.

It was finally decided that the bout would take place on February 17 in Saudi Arabia, but even that date is no longer valid due to a serious reason that forced the fight to be postponed. The fight for the undisputed heavyweight world championship between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk has now been scheduled for May 18 in Riyadh, as stated on the official Queensberry Promotions profile on X portal.

Therefore, fans will have to be patient, although some may wonder whether the fight will happen at all. One of the skeptics is Przemysław Saleta, who has emphasized several times that he won’t believe it until he sees Fury and Usyk in the ring.
