The hospital in Świętochłowice is forced to suspend one of its departments – Silesia, Super Express

The reason for this decision is not surprising. It is due to a lack of specialist doctors.

Despite many efforts, discussions, and recruitment procedures for medical services in neurology, it has not been possible to gather a staff enabling the continuous functioning of the department. Anita Przytocka, the president of the Management Board of the Healthcare Facility in Świętochłowice, emphasizes this.

The hospital is constantly taking actions to attract new medical staff, but so far, they have not been effective. As stated in the official communication from the hospital in Świętochłowice, the neurology outpatient clinic will continue to operate without any changes during this period.

Individuals who require emergency hospitalization will be admitted to hospitals in Sosnowiec, Zabrze, and Ruda Śląska under an agreement with the Healthcare Facility in Świętochłowice.
