The Polish national team is soon to play one of the most important matches in 2024. For the “white-reds,” this will be the last chance to secure qualification for the upcoming European Championships in Germany.

Under the guidance of coach Michał Probierz, the team must triumph in two crucial playoff matches to earn a coveted spot at this year’s tournament. The first match, led by Robert Lewandowski, will be played against Estonia on March 21.

If the “white-reds” emerge victorious, they will then face the winner of the Wales/Finland match on March 26 for a chance to qualify for the European Championships. Kamil Grosicki also commented on the upcoming events and addressed the potential conclusion of his career.

“I’ve been thinking about this for some time. I will never give up on the national team, but if the moment were to come, my dream is to bid farewell to the squad in a good manner.

I’m doing everything to make it happen. If we don’t qualify, I will probably be able to consider the March gathering as a ‘last dance,'” stated the Pogoń Szczecin player.

“I have the feeling that the last two gatherings showed that something has shifted. We had a chance for direct qualification, but we didn’t take advantage of it, and we may regret that.

However, there are no shortcuts in life. Our performance didn’t merit qualification.

We need to do everything to qualify in March. It seems to me that the match against the Czech Republic hinted at the fact that we are heading in the right direction,” concluded the Polish representative.
