Iga Świątek’s sister shared great news! She boasted about it on Instagram and congratulations poured in
Iga Świątek has had a very unpleasant start to the season. The Polish player was eliminated in the 3rd round of the Australian Open, losing to the young Linda Noskova – such an early exit of the WTA ranking leader has not happened in many years. Furthermore, Aryna Sabalenka won the tournament again, so she defended all the points she earned, and Iga lost some points, bringing Sabalenka very close to her. However, the season has only just begun and surely there are many interesting developments ahead of us.
Iga still has the support of millions of fans, including her older sister, who however doesn’t always have the opportunity to cheer for the tennis player from the stands due to her own career, which she is developing very strongly. As she mentioned in an interview with Eurosport, a doctor suggested knee arthroscopy for her, but her parents did not decide to go for it. Agata Świątek herself considered her parents’ decision to protect her from such a procedure at the age of 15 to be the right one. Agata decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and pursue a career in dentistry.
She completed her studies at the Medical University in Lublin, and now works as a dentist. Due to her profession, she has recently created an Instagram account where she publishes materials related to her work. Now she has decided to share an important piece of information. Agata Świątek recently completed a course to enhance her qualifications in dentistry.
She wrote under a photo of herself posing with the certificate and the course instructors, “Perio Curriculum 1. A great dose of knowledge and the beginning of immersing myself in periodontology. Inspiring people and an interesting way of conducting the training for two days… I just want to put the knowledge into practice and learn more.”
